Special thanks to the Jessica Beath
Foundation
for
its generous support!
Jessica Beath established The Beath
Foundation in 1991 to honor the memory of her husband, Dr. Thomas Beath; her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas; and her sisters, Annie Thomson and
Beatrice Stockdale. The Foundation’s mission is to provide for notable
charitable causes, particularly to support the general welfare, care and rescue
of animals. Jessica succeeded in making a difference in the lives of animals in
life and continues to do so with her legacy.
The
Animal Adoption and Rescue Foundation is honored to receive a generous grant
from the Jessica Beath Foundation to continue with its mission of rescuing and
rehabilitating homeless animals and, ultimately, finding their forever home.
We
salute the generosity and mission of the Jessica Beath Foundation for reaching
out to the animal rescue community and supporting in such a great way. Jessica
Beath has made a tremendous impact to the community, as well as the many
thousands of animals in their care each year. We and the animals thank you from
the bottom of our hearts.
Founded
in 1993, the Animal Adoption and Rescue Foundation (AARF) is a Richmond, VA
based non-profit, all volunteer, non-euthanizing animal rescue organization.
With a specific focus on the area’s canine population in collaboration with
local shelters, animal control agencies, concerned citizens and other rescue
organizations, our mission is to safe-house and rehabilitate orphaned animals
in the Greater Richmond region and adopt them into permanent, loving homes. The
animals in our care come to us from a variety of sources, with many having had
a history of abuse and neglect, where most would have otherwise never had the
opportunity of finding their forever home. We give. We love. We save.
